Barton Adds Slate of New Attorneys & New Richmond Office

New York Office

Paul A. Share joins as a Partner in Barton’s Corporate Group. He represents clients at every stage of a business’ life cycle including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, and sale transactions. Paul also has an active practice representing borrowers in commercial lending transactions.

Brigette Renaud joins as Of Counsel in Barton’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. Her practice focuses on employee benefits for employers, including retirement benefits, and welfare benefit plans under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (ERISA), and equity-based compensation.

Eric M. Albrecht joins as an Associate in Barton’s Corporate Group. His practice covers a range of business transactions, including asset acquisitions, stock purchases, and mergers. Along with his M&A work, Eric routinely prepares New York enforceability opinions for loan and credit agreements.

Thomas C. White joins as an Associate in Barton’s Corporate Group. Tom represents a variety of underwriters and issuers in connection with a broad array of capital markets transactions. He also works in the private equity space representing fund sponsors in fund formation and compliance efforts.

Richmond Office

Barton recently launched its new Richmond, Virginia, location with the addition of Robert A. Harris, IV, as Of Counsel in Barton’s Real Estate and Homebuilding Industry Practices. Robert has decades of experience in these industries, and his practice focuses on homebuilder and building industry mergers, acquisitions, financings, and joint ventures. He represents both sellers and buyers in transactions throughout the US.
