Within a few short weeks, Barton LLP continues to reinforce its standing as a high-quality alternative to BigLaw by attracting and strategically hiring six accomplished attorneys for its New York and Los Angeles offices, fortifying the firm’s already comprehensive and dynamic offering of legal services.

The new additions to the Barton team bring a wealth of sophisticated experience and expertise to their respective fields.

Ruba Qashu, brings over two decades of experience to Barton’s securities team. She has a successful history of handling public offerings, reseller registrations, and complex strategic transactions for Nasdaq and NYSE issuers. Ruba has a reputation of unwavering diligence to collaborate with top-tier teams from renowned law firms and navigate complicated dealings with the exchanges and regulators to achieve success for her clients.

Corporate senior associates Lani E. Medina and Ramona Morgan also join the firm. Lani specializes in business transactions, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and minority investments. Her practice includes acquisition planning and financing, corporate governance, and complex regulatory matters. Ramona advises clients on structuring and executing sophisticated business and securities transactions, representing operating businesses and investment funds across various industries.

Mark Frimmel, an experienced real estate practitioner, guides owners and developers through complex acquisitions and development projects, as well as commercial, industrial, and residential building sales. He also advises lenders and borrowers in various financing transactions and represents landlords and tenants in a variety of leasing agreements.

Wendy Reimer and Amanda Benzenberg join Barton’s matrimonial and family law practice. Wendy focuses on divorce mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Amanda represents clients in matters involving divorce, custody, support, property division, orders of protection, and post-judgment proceedings.
