On September 23, 2025, Barton attorneys Sevil Özişik and Petek Günay Balatsas attended the inaugural event for the Global Turks Foundation at the Meta Headquarters in Hudson Yards, which brought together policymakers, business, and thought leaders across many disciplines.
The Foundation aims to provide a platform for Turkish professionals on the global stage to connect, support one another, and elevate the Turkish community at large through collective effort.
Both attorneys are participants of the Global Turks par Excellence project—a comprehensive survey of a select group of highly accomplished Turkish professionals across 60 countries—which served as the precursor to the initiative.
