On July 10th, Partner Phil Mortensen was a panelist for a Labor & Employment client seminar titled “Hot Topics in Labor & Employment – A Global Perspective.” The panel was hosted by the International Society of Primerus Law Firms and featured legal professionals from across the globe commenting on timely labor and employment issues, specifically issues in the U.S., Mexico, Netherlands, and Hong Kong.
Phil’s portion of the seminar covered how U.S. labor law has fluctuated in the past 15 years, new union election procedures, the National Labor Relations Board’s joint employer rule, and the impact of several recent legal decisions.
