Partner Kenneth Rashbaum will be speaking at the New Jersey Hospital Association’s (NJHA) expert-led “AI in Healthcare” program on October 15th. The conference will help equip executives, governance leaders, and compliance officers with a clear and practical understanding of AI in healthcare, addressing critical gaps in knowledge, governance, and risk management. Covered topics will include:

  • Insights into current and emerging AI applications in both clinical and operational settings
  • Guidance on regulatory and legal considerations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Strategies for governance, vendor management, and ethical implementation of AI technologies

Ken will take part in a panel titled, “The Potential Downsides of AI – Ethics, Bias, Discrimination, and Liability” that will explore the various risks and failure points associated with the use of AI in healthcare. Ken and his co-panelists will discuss potential legal liabilities for AI users and provide strategies for identifying, mitigating, and managing risk.
