Partner Bill Newman was a featured panelist at the seminar “Employment Considerations: How Buyers and Sellers Can Better Prepare to Avoid People Liability in M&A” on Wednesday, June 23, hosted by the International Society of Primerus Law Firms.

The panel presentation explored how risk exposure in M&A transactions can be adversely affected by hidden employment-related liabilities. Panelists provided insights into how sellers can adequately prepare for M&A deals to mitigate this type of liability. Other speakers included Karina Sterman (Greenberg Glusker); Caroline Berube (HJM Asia Law); Melinda Bialzik (Kohner, Mann & Kalis); and Ryan Billings (Kohner, Mann & Kalis).
