Barton Welcomes New Attorney Additions to Multiple Offices

Our firm is growing! We are pleased to present the newest additions to the Barton team:

New York Office

• Petek Günay Balatsas has joined as a Partner in our commercial litigation group where she focuses on both litigation and alternative dispute resolution with an emphasis on complex business and employment disputes.
• Mark Frimmel has been promoted from Counsel to Partner in our real estate group. He counsels clients in real estate acquisitions and development projects as well as the sale of commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Elliot Weiss has joined as a Partner in our business transactions group, where his practice centers on corporate and securities matters such as M&A, debt finance, venture capital, private equity, joint ventures, and disclosure reporting.
• Joan A. Stumpf has joined as Counsel in our commercial litigation group where she focuses on matters involving sophisticated financial instruments and transactions, internal investigations, and risk management.
• George Pikus has joined as an Associate in our litigation group where he brings experience in case management, pre-trial discovery and motion practice, witness interviews and preparation, as well as court proceedings.

• Stephen Weiss has joined as Of Counsel in our business transactions group where he focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A, corporate and securities matters, and capital markets financing transactions.
