UBS Brokers Come and Go After Firm Ditches Protocol

If you thought UBS ’ decision to leave the broker recruiting protocol in late November would cause brokers at the wirehouse to stay put, think again. Brokers are joining and leaving the firm, and those departing outpace new hires over the past three-and-a-half months, InvestmentNews reports. Since the end of November, the publication has tracked 14 individual advisors or teams leaving the wirehouse with about $4.3 billion in assets under management.
