Two More AmLaw 100 Veterans Expand The Partner Ranks at Midsize Barton LLP

Barton LLP welcomes Commercial Real Estate partner Michael Pollack to the firm’s New York office, and Corporate Transactions and Outside General Counsel partner Julie-Karel (JK) Elkin to Barton’s Nashville office.

Pollack has a national practice and brings the Barton LLP team 30 years of experience spanning multiple facets of commercial real estate and related corporate and finance matters. His clients include institutional real estate investors, pension funds, Fortune 100 companies and multigenerational real estate families and entrepreneurs. Pollack has significant experience in development projects including many central district properties.  Pollack has also served on the client side as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a substantial private real estate investment, management, and construction company with a geographically diverse real estate portfolio.

Elkin will lead the Outside General Counsel practice for the firm in Nashville where she will continue her practice in advising privately held, high growth businesses. She is a frequent presenter at local business forums, and she speaks to and trains frequently on contracts, compliance, GDPR, cybersecurity, hostile work environment, and more. Elkin assists healthcare professionals and practice managers secure their office operations through management training and regulatory compliance with HIPAA and HITECH.
