Partner Tara Aaron-Stelluto has been published in the new edition of Overlapping Intellectual Property Rights, a practitioner law publication published by the esteemed Oxford University Press. Originally published in 2012, the book’s Second Edition became available on February 28th, 2023. Tara is co-author of Chapter 17, “The Relationship Between Trademark Rights and Unfair Competition Law.”
The book offers a comprehensive analysis of overlapping intellectual property laws and rights with respect to the same underlying subject matter, enabling readers to consider how these overlapping rights work together, facilitating a deeper understanding of how and when they may be encountered in practice. Each chapter addresses a discrete pair of IP rights and uses a hypothetical scenario to analyze particular conceptual and practical issues, giving practitioners a comprehensive understanding of the overlap.
