Partner Elliot Weiss was recently a featured guest speaker at the ‘Music X Nashville” Summit on November 13th. The Summit was an event for music business professionals dedicated to the conversations shaping the future of the music industry.
Hosted by Trusted Advisor, the summit brings together top advisors, executives, and professionals from across the country for deep-dive discussions on the most pressing topics in music, such as catalog sales, legacy planning, major touring operations, artist estates, and the rise of new business ventures.
Elliot spoke on a panel titled, “No Money Left Behind: The Business of Catalogues, Royalties, and Rights in the Modern Music Economy.” Besides being a talented musician himself, Elliot also frequently works on business transactions in the music industry involving the purchase and sale of music companies, recording and publishing catalogs, commercial licensing, joint ventures, and secured lending.
