Managing Partner Roger Barton recently moderated a panel called “Dispute Resolution for International Deals” held by the Association of Corporate Counsel International Legal Affairs Network (ACC – ILAN) and sponsored by the International Society of Primerus Law Firms.
The panel served to equip in-house counsel with the knowledge and tools to effectively address the challenges of navigating international business transactions and related dispute resolution. The panel discussed how to identify the most effective options for resolving international business/legal disputes, taking into account factors such as cost, time, confidentiality, and enforceability. The program also focused on international arbitration and its core principles, procedures, and its advantages/disadvantages compared to other methods.
Other panelists included Dimitris Emvalomenos of Bahas, Gramatidis & Partners; Yannick Neneng of Neneng Law Office; and James D. Benak of Barton LLP.
