Barton Recognized for Volunteer Work by Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund

In a recent press release issued by the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF), Barton personnel were recognized for helping conduct a nonpartisan, multilingual exit poll of more than 2,500 Asian American voters in the November 2nd General Election. Volunteers surveyed Asian American voters regarding what policy issues were important to them, while also monitoring for compliance with the language assistance provisions of the Voting Rights Act and helping guard against anti-Asian discrimination and voter intimidation.
