Barton LLP has joined forces with Nashville-based attorney, Marc Dedman, to open the Barton Nashville office.

He will also puts his MBA to work in collaborating with Barton LLP’s transactional, cybersecurity, tax, and corporate attorneys to offer a comprehensive set of business services to clients.
“The idea to join forces was client-driven. Nashville and Tennessee are thriving and our clients increasingly require an international platform and access to capital to enhance their business objectives. The bridge we have created between Nashville and New York will give clients access to legal services domestically and globally,” said Marc Dedman, partner-in-charge of the Barton Nashville office.
Prior to joining Barton, Marc was with Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC in its Memphis and Nashville offices for 30 years. He was Spicer Rudstrom’s managing partner from 2015-2018, managing six offices in three states.
“I have worked with Barton LLP on various projects and saw that Barton’s personality is much like that of Nashville. For me to leave a terrific law firm after 30 years, it had to be for a special firm. As Nashville will come to know, Barton is special. Opening Barton Nashville provides our clients with access to a global platform that greatly expands the resources available to them,” said Dedman.
“Our firm has been incredibly successful in bringing on major talent to our firm. The addition of a former managing partner of one of the region’s leading firms to establish a Nashville office dramatically extends our reach into one of the fastest growing cities in the country. We want to grow alongside Nashville and Tennessee,” said managing partner Roger Barton.
