Barton Client Gabriel Kreuther Earns Prestigious Two Michelin Stars for Fifth Year in a Row

Barton would like to congratulate its longtime client, restaurant Gabriel Kreuther, on receiving two Michelin Stars for culinary excellence in 2023.

The Midtown Manhattan restaurant is helmed by the eponymous Chef Gabriel Kreuther, who founded the business in 2015 after having worked at various award-winning restaurants throughout Germany, France, Switzerland, and New York City.

The cuisine is influenced by Chef Kreuther’s Alsatian heritage, with dishes that “reflect global sensibilities with a strong creative edge,” as the Michelin Guide puts it.

Michelin Stars are arguably the most prestigious awards in the restaurant industry, given based on criteria such as “the quality of the ingredients, the harmony of flavors, the mastery of techniques, the personality of the chef as expressed through their cuisine and, just as importantly, consistency both across the entire menu and over time.”

Gabriel Kreuther was originally elevated from one to two Michelin Stars in 2019 and has maintained this selective recognition for five years running. Congratulations to Chef Kreuther and to all of those at Gabriel Kreuther on this extraordinary achievement!
