The Barton Financial Services team regularly counsels registered investment advisors and broker-dealers around the country on legal issues related to recruiting, unfair competition, protection of trade secrets, breach of contract claims, and restrictive covenants. Our team has assisted in approximately 775 advisor transitions in the last 15 years. We represent some of the largest broker-dealers and RIA firms in the country in litigation and before FINRA arbitration panels. Through strategic partnership, Barton has assisted its clients’ practices in ways that have significantly increased assets under management and overall advisor headcount.
