Congratulations to Partner Tara Aaron-Stelluto, who has been selected to sit on the Data Protection Committee for the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the 2026-2028 term.
INTA is a global network of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation, while building a better society through brands.
INTA’s Data Protection Committee is an advocacy group whose mission is to explore how data (personal and non-personal) may be subject to IP protection as well as data regulation, with a particular focus on the impact of regulatory frameworks on the commercial use of data.
The committee fulfills functions such as providing policy recommendations, writing reports and submissions to external organizations, and advocating at a global level regarding data protection issues. Committee members are also tasked with raising awareness on data-related topics–such as privacy and security issues–that IP owners should keep in mind in their daily practice.
