The presentation — “Performing Due Diligence on Lateral Hires” — was part of the Managing Partner Forum webinar series: The Law Firm of the Future.
The webinar discussed how to grow a law firm strategically and perform due diligence on potential new hires to leverage talent to the firm’s competitive advantage. Panelists fielded audience-posed questions related to making a firm an attractive option to laterals, vetting a candidate’s financial information and book of business, evaluating M&A options, managing conflicts of interest when attorneys move firms, and improving lateral retention.
