On May 9th and 10th, Partner Petek Günay Balatsas attended the 39th American-Turkish Conference (ATC) hosted by the Türkiye-U.S. Business Council (TAİK), American Turkish Business Roundtable (ATBR), and U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-Türkiye Business Council.
Held in Washington, D.C., this year’s event had the theme of “Partnering Strategically, Winning Globally” and celebrated the U.S. and Türkiye’s longstanding commercial and strategic partnership, bringing together government officials, business leaders, and other experts and policymakers from the two countries.
The conference’s panels focused on information crucial for overcoming barriers and leveraging strengths to enhance bilateral relations and business between the U.S. and Türkiye. The first day also concluded with a reception at the Turkish Ambassador’s residence, now housing Ambassador H.E. Sedat Önal and Mrs. Figen Çağlayan Önal.
