Sarah Sears is an associate in our commercial litigation practice.

Sarah, received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where she focused on intellectual property and media law and graduated cum laude from Skidmore College with a double major in political science and international affairs.

During law school, she worked in the Office of the General Counsel of Broadcasting Board of Governors, where she handled issues of corporate governance, contract interpretation, employment law, and trademark law. She also drafted a legal memorandum for PBS regarding copyright issues with mobile content distribution.

Post law school, Sarah was legal fellow in the Office of the General Counsel at NPR, where she concentrated on content licensing, copyright law, corporate governance and privacy law.

Sarah is an Executive Board Member of the Putnam County Habitat for Humanity and is active with the National Lawyers Guild as a Legal Observer.
