Eric Breitman’s practice focuses on transactional matters, including international mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and other major commercial agreements. In almost 20 years of experience in both in-house and private practice settings, he has successfully negotiated agreements across geographies using a solutions oriented approach to deliver optimal results for his clients.
Eric sees each transaction as a partnership between Eric and his clients during which he analyzes the client’s business goals and develops with the client the deal strategy and intended results early in the transaction timeline. Eric leads through each phase of the deal, from pre-negotiation due diligence, on into commercial and contract negotiations and thereafter through post-closing business integration.
Prior to joining Barton, Eric served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel-Corporate, at Coty Inc., a publicly traded, leading global beauty company, where he led the corporate practice team.
