Kaela Meyer is an associate in Barton’s Litigation, Matrimonial and Family Law practices.
Kaela assists clients in all areas of divorce, divorce planning, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, separation agreements, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, modification actions, enforcement actions and family offense proceedings. Prior to joining Barton, Kaela was a member of the Divorce Mediation Clinic at Cardozo Law School where she conducted mediations of all aspects of divorce. Kaela is a Part 146 Certified Mediator.
Kaela also works with the firm’s commercial litigation group assisting clients in a variety of commercial disputes.
Kaela is a graduate of Cardozo Law School where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan where she achieved University Honors in all semesters, received the William J. Branstrom Freshman Prize, was a James B. Angell Scholar and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
