Sherri L. Plotkin joined BB&P’s predecessor firm in 1975 as a legal assistant and has since risen through the firm to become partner in 1993. She is a zealous advocate who brings 30 years of hands-on litigation experience to bear in getting results for BB&P’s clients.
Ms. Plotkin is highly regarded as a litigator by her peers and by members of the judiciary. In recognition of her standing in the profession, she was appointed by the New York State Trial Lawyers Association to the Judicial Screening Panel, an organization comprised of independent members who review the qualifications of individuals applying for Supreme Court judgeships.
She is currently serving her third three-year term as a Director of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and she has served as a Judge of the National Moot Court Competition sponsored by the American Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Plotkin has been named as a "Super Lawyer" in the NY Times edition of the top 5% of all attorneys in the State of New York.
